Thank you to everyone who has left a comment on my giveaway post. It's been really nice to get a lot of feedback about what baby items you have already made or like to make. I'm almost 100% positive about which one I'll be making but the drawing isn't until Monday so I'm waiting until then to finalize my decision. I did however, take the advice of several of you and have decided to knit the Baby Surprise Jacket. I went out and bought the pattern from My Sister's Yarn Shop in Uniontown and can't wait to get started.
In other news, you may remember the crocheted cloche I made for a friend earlier this month. Well, she was kind enough to post a picture sporting it! I think she looks super cute in it but then again, she's just that kind of photogenic lady.
I've also been working on a few projects this week (some more than others). Two nights ago, I needed my E hook. My E hook is just the kind of hook that goes missing every other time I need him. He doesn't write or call just doesn't show up one day and then I have to go searching for him. This time, I thought I'd teach him a lesson. I figured instead of tearing the house apart looking for the darn hook (I found him under the couch last time), I'd just go buy another one. I also believe that you can never really have enough crochet hooks. Anyway, on my way home from work today I made a quick stop by the craft store. Would you believe that all the E hooks in the store were sold out. Yes, all. Not one E hook to be found. I told you, that's just the way E hooks are. So instead I bought a C and D. I'm sure he'll come around and show up eventually...
Love the hat!...sooo cute! And congrats to your friends and to you...a baby to knit for~yay!...from someone who loves to make kid knits {and whose kids are growing up at an alarming rate}, I can completely appreciate your need to knit and crochet for wee ones. Those little knits are just too much fun! Can't wait to see what adorable little knits come off your needles!
