Cocoa Scarf

In a matter of days, these two skeins of Frog Tree Meriboo turned into the wonderful Cocoa Scarf. I was pleased with how quickly it knitted up. This was a (last minute) gift for my mother-in-law. I wish I had had more time to come up with something to knit but that's what happens when your husband tells you he still hasn't bought his mother a gift for her birthday that's three days away. But anyway, the pattern is super simple which is great when you want to knit and watch television at the same time. I was worried that my mother-in-law wouldn't get a chance to wear the scarf since it was beginning to warm up here. However, in true Northeast Ohio fashion, the high today was 45 degrees with a rain/snow mix.

Pattern: Yellow Dog's Trellis Lace Scarf by Dixie Grilley
Yarn:  Frog Tree Meriboo (2 skeins)

  1. Ooh that's a pretty scarf! I'm sure she will like it. I wear scarves year round since in the Summer the inside of most stores is a few degrees warmer than my freezer.
