Wildflower Scarf

Things have been more than crazy around here lately. I've been letting my lesson plans pile up around me and am paying the price. Not to mention, this semester of grad school is coming to a close so that work is piling up too. Bleh. Friday was a bit of a wretched day making for a grouchy weekend. And then what do you know? It's Monday all over again. Goodness.

However, I was lucky enough to run into something today that cheered me up. Someone on Ravelry has made my Diana's Blossom Scarf pattern! I contacted her (AllegraB on Rav) and asked if she would mind if I shared her finished scarf. She said yes (thank you so much!), so here it is:

AllegraB made a few modifications such as nixing the flower apliques and using a variegated, worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand Amazing).  I've got to admit, I've been thinking of making a worsted weight version myself because let's face it, as much as I love Malabrigo Silky Merino, Ohio winters demand at least a worsted weight scarf.

You can check out more information on AllegraB's projects here.

  1. what a gorgeous scarf. i've been wondering about that yarn as a sort of alternative to noro...? it must feel good to see someone create from your pattern!
