Thistle Baby Afghan

I've been super-duper busy these last couple of weeks so this couldn't come at a better time (meaning, now I have something to blog about!). I mentioned in this post that I had worked up a fun and easy baby blanket and would soon be releasing the pattern. Well, here it is. Let me introduce the Thistle Baby Afghan:

The yarn used for this piece was Knit Picks Swish DK. Swish DK is a superwash merino which was really a pleasure to work with. This blanket is made by crocheting four large squares, seaming, then crocheting on the border. I'm hoping that people will find it simple but modern and, oh! What a variety of color combinations you could use.

This is my first pattern published with the Knit Picks Independent Designer Program. I must say, I was really pleased with how friendly, supportive, and responsive the IDP team was. Right now there is nothing else in the works but I'd love to work with them again.
