Cambrian Cowl

The weather hasn't changed around here but for you, dear reader, I braved the drizzle to take a few pictures of my finished cowl.

The Cambrian Cowl is another pattern (this one by Alana Dakos) from Coastal Knits. If you are looking for something quick to knit this fall, this is it. I knit the entire cowl in only a couple of hours.

I went looking for buttons yesterday and I found a couple that I liked but when I returned home I found these lovely clay buttons that I had stored away. These were made by my friend Jenn of Landen Road Designs. I had them stashed away for a special occasion and this was it.

Are you in love with this cowl too? If you are, stay tuned because you'll be in for a special treat!

Pattern: Cambrian Cowl by Alana Dakos
Yarn: Misti Alpaca Chunky Solids
Needles: US10
Began: October 17
Completed: October 20

  7. Pretty cowl! I love the cream with the blue and the lovely texture of the buttons. I've been listening to "Never Not Knitting" at work lately (it makes the work seem like play). I am definitely excited about Coastal Knits!
