I should preface this by saying that I almost never win anything. I love to enter drawings but alas, they never come to fruition. When Adam and I lived in California we used to go to Las Vegas often. We'd get there and I'd gamble maybe $20 because I already knew my odds were lousy. Of course then he would find a hundred dollar bill under his chair. Typical. Anyway, a few weeks ago I entered to win some yarn and goodies from Spud & Chloe by joining their Friends of Spud & Chloe forum on Ravelry. They had a drawing of all the people that had joined and I was the winner! I couldn't believe it. It was a great way to start my Wednesday. Even better, the yarn (which shipped Wednesday as well) arrived at my door today. A great way to end the week. Now let me share my winnings:
All the goodies came packed in this Spud & Chloe pattern box.
I received three skeins of Outer in the color Flannel,
the darling pencil bag that I will immediately fill with notions as well as a tin of Knitter's Little Helper (an all-natural hand balm that smells like a spa),
the pattern for Li'l Man Vest designed by Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting,
and finally, a mini-color kit. Aren't these so sweet?
In other giveaway news, my crafty friend Landen Road is having a button giveaway on her blog. She makes some really gorgeous clay buttons that would be a fantastic addition to any handmade garment. You can be magically transported to her blog giveaway by clicking the link below. There are a ton of ways to enter, so good luck!
