I like to tell my husband that it's the "job of the Husband" to do all the undesirable things (read: things I'm too lazy to do). For example: in my house, it is the job of the Husband to get ice cream late at night.
Right now it is the job of the Husband to take a picture of me modeling my finished handknit. But he's been unavailable so despite being completed, there is no modeled picture to show. I'm hoping to get one tomorrow since by the time I get home tonight it will be getting dark. So this will have to do.
In case you were wondering, this is the Cosette Wrap, a knit for Alana's trunk show. If you're thinking that this is the coziest thing ever, you'd be right.
Looks great!!
ReplyDeleteThe job of the husband at our house is:
-trash
-anything to do with the car
-dog poop
-minor household fixes
I love the edging!
ReplyDeleteThe job of the husband at our house is:
-having a cat plastered on his chest so I can continue to knit.
So pretty! I love the colors you chose! Can't wait for your husband to get working on a modeled shot. :)

ReplyDeleteYou're too funny!!!
Sounds like you've got yourself a great guy. Love the wrap!

ReplyDeleteYour handknit poses very well. Your husband is probably sorry he missed the photo op.
ReplyDeletelove the finished wrap!
ReplyDeletewe have lots of unsavory husband work over here as well. the first two that come to mind are cleaning up cat puke and cleaning moldy food out of the fridge.
thank goodness for husbands willing to do husband work!
beautiful i want one!!
ReplyDeleteOhh, I'm so using your example to try and convince the hubby to do the late night snack run :p Wrap sure does look cozy!
ReplyDeleteThe wrap looks lovely!! :)
ReplyDeleteLate night icecream runs are definitely a husband activity. At my house husband duties also include - cleaning the toilet, mowing and removing grasshoppers and stick insects from the house (I have 'issues' with both types of insects).
It's beautiful. You gotta love Malabrigo for coziness.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful modelling by chair. A husband's work is never done.
