Not Quite Ready-to-Wear

I spent pretty much the entire day today working on the final collar ribbing of my Rocky Coast Cardigan and it paid off because it is done and in the blocking process now! I simply cannot wait to wear this sweater! I'm kind of hoping it will be dry enough for me to wear tomorrow but probably not. Since I knew I wasn't going to finish until after dark, I snapped this quick picture when I was still a few rows from finishing the collar.

So far, from what I can tell when I tried it on before blocking, it is super cozy and may turn into my go-to cardigan this fall.

  5. It's beautiful. I am seeing this as a soft red or with a hint of coral- is that right? I'm knitting this one too, in the color 'seawater' and I love this yarn!
Thanks so much for your blog tutorial on cableing without a needle. I finally jumped off that cliff and learned thanks to your great pictures and instructions! I love how fast and liberating this is.
