Weekend Work

Grrr. I just typed up a whole post and in a second it vanished. And thanks Blogger for then letting the auto save kick in to save nothing. Ok, take two.

Since it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here I decided to spend yesterday with a hot drink, cuddled in blankets watching Meet Me in St. Louis and working on my sample Featherweight Cardigan. Not that I'm complaining about the lack of holiday-type weather. We have holiday weather far into April, minus the Christmas cheer.

I've mentioned before, my plan is to finish the Featherweight before I leave for Christmas. And the time spent on it yesterday proved fruitful. I have only one sleeve left, some end weaving, and blocking.

Thanks Mary for letting me use your head!
In case you were wondering, my hat was a hit at the party! There were plenty of exclamations of "You made that?!" and a request to buy one. I'm going to rework the chart a little and write up the pattern. I'm aiming for the end of January and hoping life doesn't get in the way of that plan.

  3. If watching Meet Me in St. Louis doesn't put one in the Christmas spirit, I don't know what would!! Lovely doggie ... gorgeous hat.
